Prayer for America

Lord, have mercy on us.

 

Lord, we are praying for knowledge, wisdom, common sense, a spirit of good heartedness, a spirit of lawfulness, and a spirit of truthfulness, for all of our people, for all of our leaders, and for all of our representatives.

 

Lord, have mercy on us.

 

Protect us from all harm.  Show us what to do to get ourselves out of the difficult situations we have created for ourselves.

 

Lord, have mercy on us.

 

Lord, we are praying for an end to all the violence, hatred, ignorance, lies, racism, and bigotry that permeate our country and the world.

 

Lord, have mercy on us.

 

Lord, we are praying for all the repentance, healing, forgiveness, pardon, and reconciliation we need to get ourselves on the right track.
